The common activities in our cricket club include :

  1. Practice sessions: Members of the Stanford cricket club will typically have access to regular practice sessions where they can work on their batting, bowling, and fielding skills.

  2. Matches: The Stanford cricket club is part of a league which will typically organize matches against other clubs or teams, both at home and away. These matches could be friendly matches or competitive fixtures.

  3. Coaching: We offer coaching sessions for members who want to improve their skills. These sessions may be conducted by qualified coaches and may cover all aspects of the game.

  4. Tournaments: Stanford Cricket club may also organize tournaments for their members, which could include both friendly and competitive matches. These tournaments could be played over several days or weekends.

  5. Social events: Stanford Cricket club often organizes social events for their members, such as year end banquets and award ceremonies. These events provide an opportunity for members to socialize and build camaraderie outside of the cricket field.

  6. Volunteer opportunities: Members of the Stanford cricket club also have the opportunity to volunteer for various roles within the club, such as coaching, umpiring, scoring, or organizing events. Volunteering can help members develop new skills and contribute to the running of the club.

The activities mentioned above are conducted by the members of the club and the league the club is a part of. Membership is open to everyone.

The activities, facilities, and services offered by the Stanford cricket club are available to and can be enjoyed by individuals from all backgrounds and abilities without any barriers or discrimination. An inclusive cricket club fosters a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, or physical or cognitive abilities.

The activities are conducted in and around the Bay Area. We also have games where we travel to places like Davis, Tracy, Lodi and Fresno in CA.

Most of the activities are conducted over a weekend. Practice sessions happen twice every week on weekdays. Around 30% of the time is spent for the activities. 

​

The activities conducted by Stanford Cricket Club are mostly funded by the membership fees and some through donations. 

Around 90% of our overall expenses are allocated to activities of Stanford Cricket club. 

The expenses include:

Costs associated with Facility rental and maintenance, equipment , coaching , travel expenses, administrative costs for running the club like insurance etc
